For each group of Mario chracters presented to you, click one or more of your favorites from that group and press the "Pick" button. Eventually, your favorite characters will start appearing under "Your Order of Favorites". You can continue as long as you like to construct an arbitrarily long list of your favorite Mario characters. In principle, this picker is perfectly accurate, provided you pick consistently - you'll correctly get your second favorite second, even if it's pitted against your absolute favorite early on. You can reorder your favorites after you've found them, but in principle you shouldn't need to. There are a total of 249 characters currently included. Close tab or refresh page to reset all progress. Do not close tab or refresh page if you do not want to lose progress.
Not all characters are included, but many of the most notable were selected for the picker. Most characters from spin-offs and other franchises such as Donkey Kong, Paper Mario, the Wario Series, the Mario & Luigi Series, and Super Mario RPG are not included.
